Will they laugh if I go to skatepark?

Okayy soo i just learned how to do an ollie and Im soooo excited about it...but i want to learn more and im afraid to go to the skatepark because people might laugh at me. I dont know what to do.. theyll be like "wooww she actually thinks she can skatee" im 13 and im worse than some 10 year oldds...what do i do??

  1. meh, I suggest you stay away from the skate park until you have at least 6 months of experience (can do a lot of the basics and get down some kickflips)...

    That, or you can go with a friend that's real good.

  4. Yes, it is possible you may have some extra attention when you go.  Like all skate parks, there are clicks of people and such.

    I had a similar experience when rollerblading at a facility a long time ago.  The important thing was that:

      1)  You be confident

      2)  You don't get in anyone's way

      3)  Don't take yourself seriously.

  5. who cares if they laugh, every one has to start somewhere! besides, they will be the ones laughing when you get to be better then them!

  6. go there you'll only get better i doubt they'll laugh cuz they were as good as you at one point and you'll impress them if you get really goo by practicing there
