Will they opperate the rides at Six FLags If there is a Chance of a thunderstorm? (PLEASE ANSWER)?

Im going to SFNE This weekend and there is a chance of thunderstorms..will they still opperate the rides?

  1. Yes they will still operate. They only shut down if actual thunder/lightning happens. Rain I don't think affects many rides.

  4. Yes , they will unless there is a very large  percentage chance of thunderstorms!

  5. As long as it's just a chance or just rain without lightning, generally they continue with regular operations. In the event of lightning, they will suspend operation of the rides (usually outdoor ones only- don't know if that one has any indoor rides/attractions) until the lightning passes

  6. The park contains all types of activities, many of which are not dependent upon good weather, including indoor shows, games and arcades. While some rides and shows may close due to rain or wind, they are opened as soon as the weather clears. Refunds and rainchecks are not offered.

    Hopefully you can go to Six Flags, cause it's awesome! Have a good time, and plan carefully!
