They check your purse and usually make you throw any food you have away.

well they don't like for people to bring their own food cause they have their own shops  inside with food & drinks. idk i have not try it personally but others have told me they don't

almost everything except an empty water bottle will get thrown out. gum  might be the only exception. trying to sneak food in isnt worth getting the boot from the park.
