  1. You won't have any problem connecting the Onkyo receiver to the Klipsch subwoofer.  They will work together without any problems.

    As others have said, the subwoofer has it's own internal amplifier, so the receiver does not need to "power" the subwoofer. The receiver only supplies a low power output for the subwoofer to amplify.  This is perfectly normal and is the typical setup for high-end systems.


  2. The link to the HT system isn't working, but it's a self-powered sub. All you need from the amplifier is a subwoofer pre-out. (it will be an RCA connection usually black or purple)

  3. Like the other guy said, that sub is powered so it has its own amp built right into it.  If that is the sub you want, shop around because for $500 you could do a lot better.
