Will this Camera malfunction?

i want to get a camera next week...

the one i was planning to get was the samsung 8.1 mp camera

it sold at target..

will this camera malfunction quickly so i can just buy a different one?

It shouldn't malfunction quickly.  Just look at some review sites and see what they see about it.  You didn't give an exact model number so I just went to Target.com and looked for any Samsung 8.1 MP cameras they sold. There was a couple.

Just go to dpreview.com and see how it got reviewed.  When in doubt just do a search of the cameras model number followed by review or broke.  You'll find out if it malfunctions quickly because most people will usually only write a review of how bad a camera is.
