  1. No, the Democrats love it when we are in dire straits.  They do not want us to be successful or responsible.  They need victims who will keep voting for them.

  2. No, it's no wonder that congress' approval rating is soooo low!  Even lower than the President's.

  3. Vice President Cheney won't allow that! He sets the Enronergy policy!

  4. No, if they did then that means they might actually do what they were elected to do, take care of the people.

  5. The government wants the country to go under. People just won't (or don't want to) accept that.

  6. I think that as long as the possibility of nuclear power is included in the energy bills, there won't be any Yays or Nays for quite some time.

There's a whole lot to consider when it comes to building nuclear power plants. The two main question deal with safty and effectiveness.

The main obstacle is the need for a continous flow of cold (dense) water; the colder the better.

There's only two sources to draw this from: the Pacific Ocean and fast flowing stream or rivers.

The problem with building along the Pacific Ocean is obvoiusly the possibility/certainty of earthquakes along the west coast. (Safety)

The problem with building along rivers and streams is the trend of lowering water levels.  The lower the water level, the warmer the water; the warmer the water, the less energy that can be extracted. (Effectiveness)

  7. Ole plastic face polosi was going to bring the energy bill to the floor but realized that the Republicans were going to bring up the drill here and now bill (and it will pass) so she did not bring it up.

But notice how she gets into her jet (that we pay for and fuel up) and flies off.

And I thought the dems cared about people. Guess not. what a*sses they are.

  8. No...not as long as it has a chance of causing the economy to refresh before the November elections....
