After that, I'm planning on inserting a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130076 into it, will I have any problems?

  1. yes it willl work just fine.  The motherboard is limited to 4x agp just so you know, but you really wont notice the difference.  The powersupply is specific to the system only in that it is smaller in order to fit the smaller cases made by hp.  All should fit together nicely.

  2. Yes that PSU will work fine with that mobo. There will be an extra 4 pins on the main power connector that you don't need - they will just slide right off the PSU is made to work in 20 or 24 pin mode. Graphics card looks fine too. I suppose it is a little outdated according to today's standards but definitely cheaper than buying a whole new machine. Looks like everything you picked will go well together. Good luck!!
