  1. A four channel amp isn't really what you are looking for if you just want to run a sub. If you wanted to run your front stage and a sub it might work ok. If you're looking to power just the sub system you should look for a mono amp like this one. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/...

  2. You "could" use this amp if you already had it but it is really not an ideal amp to use.  You would ideally want an amp that is around 500w RMS and is a monoblock.

  3. Wish i could Help! I need to learn more about this stuff myself!!

  4. No this amp will be I believe over 300w short of what you want. A great website though trust me, just look for an amp that is probably monoblock class D that runs at LEAST 500w RMS to this subwoofer. Believe me, my friend has this subwoofer on a Sony XM-GTR6001 that cost him only $180 and he has it wired to 4 ohms and it pumps the alpine type R like a champ. Been running for over a year now so this sub can handle at least 600w RMS.

  5. No U Want An Amp That Is 500 Watts RMS Or A Little More At 4 Ohms.
