Will a Soundstream XTA360.2 which is rated at 360 watts RMS bridged push these Pioneer TS-W307D2 Subwoofers which calls for 400 watts RMS?I was planning on running Two of these subs on ONE circuit off ONE amp. Will this work? Im just wondering if that amp that is pushing 360 watts RMS on ONE channel, Can i run two subs on that are rated for 400watts RMS????

  1. yes but they could handle more

  2. It's not a good match.  The Soundstream amp is rated for 360 watts RMS at 4 ohms in bridged mode.  The Pioneer subs are 4-ohm subs.  You can't combine two of them for a 4-ohm load; it has to be 2 ohms or 8 ohms.  It's unlikely that the amplifier is capable of running a 2-ohm load in bridged mode, and if you wire them for 8 ohms, you'll only get about half the output power (and each sub will only get half of that).  You'll end up with less than 100 watts per sub.  It would work, but I don't think it's what you're looking for.

On the other hand, if you had two of the amps (one for each sub) then you'd have a well-matched system.
