Will this be the year that Democrats finally realize that they can win if they just go negative?

Taking the low road works in political campaigning and the republicans have mastered the art. When will the democrats decide to stop being noble and win an election?

Oddly, they don't have to be all that negative.  All they have to do is simply trot out the sins of the GOP.  Leave McCain alone, it's the entire party he represents that's been the enemy of the people for eight long years....like Bush, old man McCain is just another stooge and frontman.  The PARTY screwed the pooch because of its ideology.  That ideology isn't going to change just because they have a new face on the truely loony tunes policies of the republican party.  This bunch of bums is still in the business of s******g the american wage-earner as it spreads its facisti BS as far and wide as it can.  Attack the real enemy and reveal it.....the republican party's high command are a mafia determined to turn the entire planet into one big corporate gulag and 'we the people' will be the prisoners.  any working class person that votes for these weasels needs his/her head examined.

I don't honestly know. But I do know that illegal dirty political tricks are pretty much the standard for the Bush/Rove crowd.

Bill Clinton didn't use dirty tricks to get elected. Hopefully Obama won't have to resort to the same shameful, scum sucking dirty tricks that put Bush into office.

I'm not too fond of Obama. But I'm less fond of bare-faced liars and distortions of the truth.

Those of us old enough remember when the Republicans basically learned their current tactics from the Democrats. They'll go negative, as both parties always do. Whether it'll work, we'll just have to wait and see.
