  1. YES, YES, AND YES.

This year's Red Sox is not the same as 2004 or 2007 ON the other hand this year's Angels is like the 2002 Angels.

the Angels have EVERYTHING power hitting (Vlad, Tex, Hunter, Anderson) speed with Figgens, Ayabar and Kendrick.

AND the SP is solid with Garland, Lackey, Santana, Saunders, Weaver and their RP is unstoppable with K-Rod, Shields, Spier, Oliver and Arredondo.

The Red Sox still have a SOLID hitting team with power, speed, and contact with Ortiz, Bay, Ellsbury, Pedroia, Lowrie, and JD Drew

BUT they are injury prone, don't have Manny this time, AND their SP and RP is horrible.

all they have is Beckett, Dice-K, and Lester as solid SP and a good closer in Papelbon BUT the rest of SP and RP sucks, Okajima, Delcarmen, Timlin, Wakefield, Masterson, Buchholz has not done anything special for them to think they will beat the Angels this year.

  2. Well if they meet, I would think the Angels are the favorite.

Boston's starting rotation is a lil shaky rite now.

If they meet in teh first round, then we'll see Lackey and Santana against Dice K and Jon lester.  A good matchup, but I think the angels are a better pitching team all around rite now.

i like the red sox alot but they dont stand a chance against the phillies :D

  5. I hate to say it but thats what it looks like.

  6. hopefully

  7. HOPEFULLY!!!!!!!!   Based on previous games against the Sox, the Angels have swept them on the last series... and done very well.

  8. Yes the Angels will cruise throught the playoff and face The Cubs in the World Series

  9. Noope because the Twins are going to overtake the REd SOx in the Wild Card.
