Will this bedspread look okay with my carpet?

Question

I'm awful with color coordinating, but know that my brown and pink polka dotted bedspread will not look good with this new arrangement. I've been searching online for new bedspreads...would this look okay with my carpet?

You feel your awful with color coordinating but your choices are very nice. My daughter has this bedspread and is it the one that feels like suede? She said this is very warm and soft. I think you will like it.

The comforter is very neutral and will look fine with the rug, however you need to spice it up with pillows or window treatment with the colors that are in your rug. If not it will be very bland. Looks like a fun start. Get a cool lamp

wow -you're really playing it safe! get some throw pillows in the shades of the pattern in the carpet to add a little life ! also khaki and black are a classic combo. good luck at school

Your rug has a nice neutral flavor.  I especially like the spirals in it.  Definitely do NOT buy the bedspread you have in mind.  You need some color or pattern in a dorm room to kick it up a notch.  Go to this site to find great duvets, sheets, curtains, knicknacks,accessories- all great things for a dorm room :  http://www.pbteen.com/shop/girls-bedding...  

The polka dot had a great neutral kacki color if you want to stay neutral but, really, that rug can take any color, pink, blue, red, anything!  Good luck.
