  1. it wont cause brain damage but that is too young to spin around so fast. just let her know that you are not comfortable with it and if she respects you she will gladly stop :)

  2. oh do not let her shake her rock her hard. we were going to  take my nephew for a boat when he was little the dr told us that a babies brain would move around inside the skull. i don't remember at what age the brian is stable but i do know when young like that is not good for them. let her get mad you are only protecting your baby which is what a mother issupposee to do.

  3. YES IT WILL CAUSE BRAIN DAMAGE SHAKING BABY SYNDROME AND OTHER DEFFECTS PLEASE DONT ALLOW HER TO BE ALONE WITH HER AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST RECENTLY HAD MY BEST FRIEND LOSE HER 3 MONTH OLD FROM BABY SHAKING SYNDROME!!!!!!! PLEASE DONT EVER LET HER DO ANYTHING OF THE SORT TO HER!!!!!!!! A LITTLE ROCKING IS FINE BUT ROUGH ROCKING OR SWINGING!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Swinging a small child around can cause brain damage...their brains are not yet fully developed.

    Shaken Baby Syndrome

Shaking or hitting a baby can cause blindness, brain damage or death. This is called Shaken Baby Syndrome or SBS. It is most common in very young infants, but it can happen to toddlers as well.

SBS usually occurs when adults become frustrated or angry with babies and shake them strenuously. Many people are not aware of how seriously this can hurt a child.

Some play activities are hazardous too:

repeated, vigorous tossing of small child into the air

jogging while carrying an infant on one's back or shoulders

bouncing a small child on one's knees

swinging a child aaround by the ankles

Make sure that everyone who has contact with your baby is aware of the dangers of shaking and rough play. http://preventchildabuseny.org/handlewit...

  5. I would worry too... I don't think its good for young babies...hopefully a Dr wll respond...or look it up on the internet.

  6. One baby died from quick spinning and shaking, can cause blindness, etc. That is like a 1 week old baby or an infant, I forget, sorry for making you even MORE paranoid. Hope this helps.

  7. your question is making me paranoid
