Question:

Will this drive work with Vista?

I have an internal cd reader/writer from an old computer. I looked it up at the website and it said that it is plug and play for windows 59, 98, 2000, and XP. It didn't say anything about Vista. Do you think it just didn't say anything or does it not work with Vista?

  1. It should work just fine. Being "Plug 'n' Play", it conforms to a known standard. As long as the interface is supported by Vista (IDE or SATA), you should be able to connect it with no problems.

  2. There is a very very good chance that it will work. Especially if it says it works with XP, as they both run on the NT platform.
