Will this happen if I dye my hair? ?

I have blond peek-a-boos. (If you don't know what that is, it's when you have the hair closes to your lower head a dyed color and then the top of your hair another color.) Anyways, so I have those blond hairs there, and my black hair on top. I was wondering if I should go to a salon to dye my whole head black, to get rid of it, or if I can use the box, because it's cheaper, and do it myself, but I want to know if I do that, if the blond will actually go away or just get to a brown because it will fade. What is the most efficient way to get rid of the blond?

Since your hair is blonde, a black hair dye from a box will work. Hair dyes in a box is quite strong actually, and will cover the blonde nicely.

If I were you, I'd use Garnier Nutrisse haircolor in Black Licorice. This hair color really nourishes your hair and keeps it healthy, even when dyeing it so dramatically.

If you bleached your hair to make it blond, then it will eventually grow out and you can get it cut off. Until it is cut, you can dye your hair from the box, but you will have to redo after awhile because the color can fade. If your hair is naturally blond (which it sounds like it is not), then you can try using the box anyway, or consider letting your hair go back to being blond.

I would recommend going to a good salon.  Since your hair is blond, it won't hold a colour very well.  If you go to salon, they will fill your hair first with a colour filler.  This will give your hair back some colour molecules, which you need in order for your hair to hold a colour.  Then they will apply black.  

Your colour might fade a little bit--but that is to be expected.

Go to the salon, because the box has metallic dyes in them that can mess with your peek-a-boos. and the damaged ur peek-a-boos did was really bad, leaving it more pores than the dyed part of your hair. so when you do dye your hair from the box it may leave your hair a greyish kinda color. But if you go to the salon they can watch it more carefully and also give you the right vol. so thats what i would do.
