Question:

Will this influence the visa officer...please help...?

am goin 4 student visa interview tomorrow...my cousin stays in US...is it necessary to show that to the visa officer...will that affect my chance of getting the visa.....will that really do me any good...anyway am not going to stay with him...he is an US citizen....he has sent me the sponsorship form.....shud i show him as a sponsor or is it better not to show that...please help...am confused.....

Will for sure u have to i had the same thing but my aunt lives there i went to the appointment and i told him about it and show him the paper the she is my sponsor and she is going to help me till i find a place for myself its a big good for you, and i advice you dont lie to him att all except one thing if you want to stay there and he will ask you about yor future plans dont till him IF I COME BACK>>> tell him WHEN i come back i will ... they can get 100 mistakes in 1 phrase GBU and good luck ))


  2. It doesn't hurt to show the form, but unless you need your cousin's sponsorship to provide for you financially in order to cover your schooling and living expenses, then his sponsorship is not necessary.  

    Do not be nervous - if you are a serious student with an I-20 and evidence of financial means to cover your stay in the US without working, and strong ties to your home country, then your interview should go well.
