Will this lens fit both cameras?

Question

I am considering buying a Nikon 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6 af zoom. To replace a worn out Nikon 35-70 zoom af. Question is will the 28-80 fit an old 8008s. Also if I buy a new Nikon d60, will the 28-80 fit with all systems operable? Also am I correct in assuming that the minimum aperture on the 28-80 is f22? Thanks

im a canon guy, but from what I understand, every Nikon lens made since 1953 will work on any Nikon camera.

The 8008s will be fine with that lens.

You will not have autofocus on the D60 with it.
