I've recently lost a lot of weight, about 30 pounds. I am now healthy (5'4" and between 112-120), and just need to tone. Anyway, to lose the weight, I swam 5 times a week for about an hour and ate about 1800 calories each day.

Now I swim 2 times a week, for 60 minutes and 40 minutes, and do an 8 minute tae-bo workout 3-4 mornings each week, as well as a 30-40 minute tae-bo workout 1-2 times a week, and just walking whenever I can, aiming for 8000-10 000 steps. And i eat 1800 a day.

I swim 80 lengths in my hour long sessions on front crawl.

is this enough to maintain my weight?

  1. Thats great training to keep in shape. All of our bodies are different. I can eat 15000 calories a day and not gain a lb because of my metabolism. But yes, i think that should maintain your weight as long as your consistent and dedicated to what your doing.
