Will this one recoup my losses?

Sparkling Montjeu at 6-1 in the 4-40 Yarmouth has been running as if this would be his right distance. He has the assistance of mr Ffrench whom I think is underrated. Backing each way to get some of my recent losses back.

  1. Not a great fan of claimers but with North Parade out makes it a bit easier.

Sparkling Montjeu has been running at all sorts of distances, LTO over 2 miles on G/Firm, but he has never won a race in his lifetime or come closer than 4th.  Being a poor race, with only 2/3 in with chances his breeding could get him through, but with only 7 runners now he's got to win or be 2nd to I would stick with Maddy today.

She still just holds Flash of Fire at the weights on the last run when he was 2nd.  She is a C and D winner and goes on the soft.

Having been to Newmarket yesterday and actually seen Duke of Marmalade in the flesh I changed my bet from New Approach, he's such a cool character.

Didn't win much but 2 guys I overheard had put 'the house' on it, said it was like printing money.  May be it would be better to wait for the big races and go in big, losing is certainly no fun and in these little races the horses beat each other time and time again.

Good luck, hope it turns around for you....Jacqui
