A Love Story

A story I shall tell to you,

One sure to touch your heart.

It's of a couple, boy and girl,

Their vow to never part.

They dated through their high school years,

At graduation, wed.

They vowed that they would stay as pure,

As was their wedding bed.

Attractive was this lovely girl,

To men all over town.

No matter where she roamed by day,

Her love was close around.

For though he worked ten miles away,

His love was in her breast.

No matter how they tried her will,

She always passed the test.

The same was true of him she loved,

The ladies enticed him.

He'd close his eyes and see her face,

His focus did not dim.

It went this way throughout the years,

True blue for all their life.

And when they passed by heaven's gate,

They went as man and wife.

  4. You are a simply wonderful romantic it is nice to know that there are still a few faithful people out there no matter what the trials and temptations.

Very uplifting something I certainly needed at this point in my life. Thank You Dondi although I am aware it was not intended just for me.

    I certainly felt that way.

  5.      I Loved this alot. Honesty and  fidelity are the most Important features In a marriage. If you don`t have that then you have nothing.

People that lie and cheat are not worth my time.

                                  ----------------------------------------...

I wish it were me, but our lord has yet to send me my groom to be.

I won`t wait for him until I'm old and gray, but when he`s destined, here I will be.

Sitting right here in front of my P.C.!

LMAO. How lame is that? The situation and the rhyme. lol

  9. Nice,,, a True Love Story,,,,,A Hopeless Romantic,,, And Yes I Am!!! I Really Liked This Piece,,,Nice job

Candle Light,,,,,  Wine ,,,,,,,,Yes it will..

  10. Yes, it truly will...and an invite as well.

  11. A wonderful love story, told by a master.  I'm a silly, overly sentimental female, and as I said once before, all my husbands said so!  And the door is always open, with soup on the stove!

  12. Will you make dinner for a guy? j/k  Nice literature.

  13. It made me cry.  It's got to be one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read.  I hope and pray to someday have a love like that in my life

  14. Now what type of question is that when you already know the answer?  lol  You will probably have every woman who reads this ready to dine.  Very nice and very romantic.

  15. Ah, but Dondi, as I'm sure you know, in Heaven they are neither married nor are given in marriage. Matthew 22:30, if my memory holds up. I'd suggest changing the 4th line,1st verse to 'who vowed to never part.' so that it completes the sentence from the line above slightly smoother. Regards.

And what, pray tell, is there about this response that merits a thumbs down? Quoting Scripture, perhaps?
