Hi, I'm planning on buying a new printer and have seen one today for £50 which is a snap considering its an all in one. However I want to know whether it will work over my network, it appears to have ethernet connectiivty.

I connect my PC wired to my router

I connect my Laptop wireles to my router

I want to connect the printer wired to my router.

Will this allow me to print over the network or not?

Here is the printer:

  1. I DONT SEE WHY NOT.MOST WIRELESS ROUTERS HAVE 4 CABLE JACKS.ONE FOR WIRELESS AND THREE FOR WIRED APPS.IT SHOULD WORK WITH NO PROBLEM WITH THE WIRED PC.NOW AS FAR AS THE WIRELESS LAPTOP,YOU MAY NEED A WIRELESS HUB TO HAVE THE PRINTER WORK WITH THE WIRELESS APPS.

  2. just add the printer to a home network and the router and allow this on firewall and allow printer sharing and it should work.

  3. i guess it will be fine, moreover ask your printer manufacturer about this .....
