Will this propel me fast enough?

Question

I am 5'11 and 180 lbs. I am looking to buy a cheap electric skateboard to motor around the UNCC campus. The campus is moderately hilly but all paved.

Depends, how lazy are you? On flat ground you'll be fine, these things usually struggle with hills and slow down a fair bit. Flat out continuously I'd say you get about 30 minutes good use, then maybe a bit more sluggish use, at best. They sure beat the h**l out of walking though, especially if you running late.

Without knowing anything about the campus....do they allow skate boards....and most of all...do they allow motorized ones????
