Will this rear shock fit my bike?

I have got a Land Rover DSX 110 and want to upgrade my rear end, will the Manitou Radium R Shock 2007 fit my bike, and will it be a worthwhile upgrade.

  1. definately check what size ur current shock is. it'll be between 160mm and 190 mm probably. make sure u get the same size by measuring from eye to eye on the old one.

    some places sell shocks without bushes which are like big washer which hold the shock in place on the bolt. you will need manitou specific bushes for any manitou shock as the are different from other companiesshocks and bushes. take that into account when purchasing it.

    and finally, it is a vast upgrade on the stock componants of the bike. the bike itself probably isn't worth the upgrade as it is a relatively cheap frame and comes with cheapish stock parts

UNfortunately that bike really isn't worth upgrading BUT if you want to check compatibility of the shock, take the original shock and measure it from eye to eye... center to center of the bolt holes. This is the size shock you'll need. Make sure that the diameter of the new shock is the same or smaller than the old one.
