Will this sound good?

Question

i have 2 12 inch alpine type r's,

im going to run each at 600 watts on a hifonics 1200 watt amp

is it going to be loud, crappy, or pretty good

This will very much depend on the head unit, the wiring, the box, and the subs location within the vehicle.  There is no easy answer to your question, and can only be answered if you give all of the information.

That depends on what you think sounds good, as well as what type of enclosure you have, how big the enclosure is, and what type of vehicle you have this in. If you have the optimal settings (the right size enclosure, possibly in a SUV), this CAN be loud enough to set off SOME weak alarms. If you have them in an enclosure that is too small, or cheaply made, and in a small car, it might not sound as good.
