Will this still have good resolution?

if i plug my computer up to this tv with a vga connector would it still show good resolution?

No, the image will look quite compressed and pixelated, because that resolution is significantly lower than what most computers output.  Look for something that is 1920x1080.

not as good as a computer moniter. most moniters are 1080 and this is only 720p. that is not a good tv anyway. you can do alot better for the price. for that price you can get a name brand like RCA with the same size and more options
