and the speaker im using is this one

http://www.amazon.com/1000-Watt-Ohm-Chrome-Subwoofer/dp/B000XDNF4M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1219889430&sr=8-2

and my question is will this speaker work with my home theater system and not cause any problems?

the theater system i have is the rca rt2770 and im connecting it to the amp using the secondary subwoofer rca output but the ohm scale that the subwoofer is in is 8ohms and this is like the best speaker i could find that was a 15" and i just want to make sure if i have an 8ohm output from the home theater and hook up an 8ohm speaker will it run good and btw the amp handels 8ohms as well
