Will this transfer my ps1 memory card files to the ps3?

That is the official Sony adaptor, so yes it will. However it's only compatible with 8mb PS2 cards (so will not work on third party cards that provide 16mb or 32mb space) and 1mb/15 block PS1 cards.

I got one of those from Game Stop so  could transfer PS2 data onto my PS3. I said ps2/ps3 but then I asked the guy if it was compatible with ps1 memory cards and he said it was. I think it's a great deal because before, I just had to start new games, but now, I'm back on track with all of my ps2 games so yeah great buy.
