Will this work when knitting (more details below)?

Ok so I am knitting a blanket and I am using garter stitch. I want to use this heart shape design (link is below) So my question is will it look good in garter stitch or should I switch and just make the heart stockinette stitch?

i think it would look better in stockinette

I agree with the other answer . Designs don't really show on garter stitch ,they don't "stand up" . Stockinette stitch is the best and at is also easy .Happy knitting !

have the heart in stockin stitch, that will make it stand out perfectly.
