Will time travel destroy us? (I personally believe it will if we discover a way to time travel)

  1. No because we are always travelling in time - ie: from the time I started writing this answer to the end of this sentence, I have just travelled forward in time and don't feel unduly injured. (Ha Ha).  Time is an arrow.

  2. If time travel were possible, we would already know about it.  Some unethical person would have already brought it to our time, and all other times as well.

We can only travel through time in one direction at one speed-forward, one second per second.

  3. 2 possibilities.

1, a causality loop, by which when someone tries to come back in time to alter it, but in fact causes his past, our future.

2, parallel time lines.  Our time line is intact, but the bad guy creates an alternate time line by going back into the past.  But we would not notice since we are still stuck in this time line.

  4. It very well could, if we ever get our hands on it. It seems to me, though, that if we ever discover the secret of time travel, at any point in our future, we would already be feeling the effects of their meddling with time now, in the present. Unless the future people are much more cautious than anyone who ever lived has ever been. Seems unlikely to me, people being people. Imagine a "Bill and Ted" scenario.

  5. Definitely. The threads of time space is very delicate. We cannot touch them. I believe that if humans travel in time they will also break through the limits of space. What would happen then!

  6. Possibly. Going back in time would change history. Have you ever seen Frequency? It's the basic concept.

  7. If a way to time travel was discovered, you wouldn't know about it unless you are a high ranking government official or an ultra rich person.  Technologies such as time travel will be kept hush hush, it won't ever be introduced to the public.

  8. No, because it is impossible.
