Will tonight be bittersweet?

I am looking forward to the wings winning the cup at home tonight....and dreading the season to be over.

I think that anything is possible . I would like Pittsburgh to win however they are in a tight squeeze. Oh well. we will just have to wait and see.

I won't be sad... the summer is really long when your team doesn't win the Cup, but it is much more satisfying when they do.  Soon I will be able to actually start working around my house and getting things done... It will definitely make my wife happier, lol.

Yes, after finally winning the Cup in 1997, I remember just collapsing in the chair, not knowing how to react.

I had driven four hours so I could watch the last game with my parents (Mom's a Wings fan back to her high school days in the 1930s).

I always get that way too.   If/when the Wings win tonight, I'll be unbelievably happy, but at the same time I start to hate the fact that I have to wait until October to see another hockey game.

It will be sad to not watch the Stanley Cup finals again. But then again, it has to end sometime right? Hopefully the Wings will win it tonight so we could celebrate all night.

I'm not entirely convinced yet. But it will be kind of sad for the season to end if they do win.

I have not been following the playoffs since Round 2.  All the CrosbyLuv has been sickening...he's a good player, but he hasn't been outstanding the last 2 rounds and I hate hearing all this talk about 1 player.  Hockey is a team sport.
