Will toothpaste ruin my cds? plzz help?

if i clean my cds with toothpaste (non gel)...will they get messed up...or will they get clean?...plz help..i'm scared that i'm gonna mess up my cds!! thx!

  1. No.  They should never take on moisture.  Dry polishing with no product is the best.  Moisture migrates into the media and shortens the life of the CD.


  2. Use a clean cloth and the proper cleaning solution available from good retailers. Some toothpastes are abrasive which will definitely cause harm to your cds.
