  1. Actually travel from the US to Cuba IS legal...what is not legal is spending money/doing business between US citizens and Cuba without a special travel license provided through the OFAC.

So if you want to go to Cuba and be able to move around freely using your money, etc, without worrying about paper trails, then you just need to apply for a travel license under various categories...whether it be for immediate family, journalism, volunteering, medical purposes, teaching, educatioal, religious, sports, etc....

I hope you do get to visit Cuba. It is so beautiful there.

  2. Well unless we have a Chrystal ball that predicts political issues and policies  around the world there is no way of knowing that.  However Fidel may not be with us anymore, but I hear his bro is worse that him..but he may not be with us either, and the plot thickens...we all have to wait.and see

  3. Travel to Cuba is legal now...with the proper U.S. State Department License with a specified travel reason.  There are several flights each week from the U.S. to Cuba. That said, many expect the embargo to lessen in the coming years including U.S. tourists starting to visit Cuba directly from the U.S. with only a tourist card and passport (no special license).
