  1. It depends what kind of trout. Brook trout might take it. You have more of a chance with Lakers. You want a big enuf grasshopper to hook and it doesn't matter what color. And don't use a bobber

  2. yep, hook it Thur the head, use a bobber, but keep it close to the top of the water,

try whole kernel corn, [in the can ]

    salmon eggs

  3. yup, but the nearer ti the bank the better, when fishing in streams or rivers... they most likely won't if they have not seen a 'hopper before...

    match the hatch,

  4. Use Trout Love Grasshoppers hook them through the head and thorax and fish them with a bobber or clear bubble this method is guaranteed to catch fish.

All of these species of trout I fish for will take grasshoppers.

    Rainbow Trout

    Brown trout

    Brook trout

    Cutthroat Trout

    Tiger Trout

    Splake

    Lake trout

    Albino Trout

  5. Yes they will eat grasshoppers. One of the nice things about fish is they are opportunistic when it comes to eating. As size & color go, see what you catch and toss them out on the water. The fish will eat the ones they want and you can take it from there. Tight lines!
