  1. if you are looking for a little extra bass INSIDE of the car and don't want to rattle it then you need one 10" sub with no more that about 200watts RMS in the trunk or

you could get some high quality inside speakers (the higher the sensitivity the better-- a speaker with a sensitivity of 3dB higher will be twice as loud as another speaker that's 3dB lower) that require over 100watts RMS each and put a 2 or 4-channel amp on them and it will sound like you have a small sub in the trunk

  2. depends on the RMS and amp you have but no it wont rattle the **** out of your car i got 4 12" cerwin vega v-maxs in my  trunk with 1200 RMS powered by 2 kenwoods and that rattles the **** out of my car you can hear me from blocks away

  3. 10's won't rattle the **** out of your car unless you get some spl subs that are designed to do that. if you want to add a little bass to your car get the mtx thunderlink sub.  its got an amp built in and i believe it's a 10 inch woofer.
