I have cable internet and two cable modems. Instead of buying wireless or draging cables across the house, I would like to use the second modem. Is this possible?

  1. not possible,2 modem means u need 2 connection ,but u got only one connection ,so anyway u gotta leave one modem idle,i urge u get wireless connection, pay money and life will be smooth!!!

remember our lifetime is short, once we die, can't take money ,so enjoy ur each moment in life while u r on earth, its not guaranteed that we will be here when we want to!!!!

sorry to end in this way!!!! i meant to say,go for the best!!!!

    thanks

    ur friend

  2. Can you use two modems? Yes but the cable company will most likely charge you for two internet connections. Each modem is addressed individually so they would have to enable a second connection for you to use both. If you want to put the second modem in another part of the house, you or the cable company would have to run a section of cable there.

I'm sure the cable company would love to sell that to you for $45 a month for each modem though.

Its just cheaper to purchase a wireles router for a one time $45 fee.

  3. no
