Will two rats fit in this cage?

if not i should probably just take HIM back because i don't want him to be lonely, and i dont want to keep both in there if there isn't going to be enough room. P:

Rats need about 2 cubic feet of space EACH, and since you should never keep a rat by itself, you need a cage that has 4 cubic space in it.

The cage you posted, and the cage Bubbles posted, are both way too small, even for just ONE rat.

Here is a website that will help you determine if your cage is big enough for two rats:

All you have to do is put in the measurements of your cage, and it will tell you how many rats will fit. All the cages on PetSmart.com and Petco.com have the dimensions listed, so you can figure out which ones are best.

But if you want a really great cage that is cheaper than the big PetSmart cages, check out the rat section at:

They are better than any cage sold by PetSmart or Petco.

WAY TOO SMALL!!!!!!

But whatever you do, DONT take them back!  they WILL become SNAKE FOOD!  and then you'll feel guilty, and if you do take them back, you should feel EXTREMELY GUILTY!!!!

My advice:  

Buy a two level cage:  wire, with a solid bottom. (not a wire bottom, they will get injured if it is a wire bottom).

You can even get what i have for my younger rats:  a 10 gallon tank cage topper. Here is the link:

Its cheap, ( a 10 gallon tank and this totals about $50.00 , give or take)

Plus, it is enough room for your ratties.

Here is an idea that might work if you havnt really used the cage take it back and get a little bit bigger cage that way you can still keep your pet and make him happy too.

Maybe you'll need a little bigger cage. Because they have to walk and have their space, and I don't think they can do that here, if there are two of them..

No you need a bigger cage so under this answer is a rat cage do not take your rats back because when you do that they feed them to a snake.

no, that cage looks too small, and you need a rat cage, not guinea pig. you should ask the people who work at petsmart to help you pick out a cage that would fit two rats.

plus, when you add all the items you bought in there, the rats will barely have enough space to play or run around on the floor.

NOO not at all! Thats a guinea pig cage, not a rat cage! Rats need leveld cages to meet their needs! And that cage is wayy to small.
