Will two separate 5.8 ghz phone systems interfere with each other?

New two line household to use existing equipment. We each have cordless phones and would like to use the two lines coming into our house separately. One has FHSS technology, the other doesn't.

  2. The 5.8G or the other phones like DECT, 2.4G have many sub channels. The phones have MCU(small computers) monitoring these channels. The MCU will select a channel that is free from interference. When you use your phone, the base will tell the handset which channel is free and the handset will lock to it. The other phones will not use this already locked channel as their bases will do the same as the first phone.
