I'd vote for him even if he didn't.  It's more important to fight for those rights at your state level and keep in mind that the Federal Govt. is for larger and far fewer matters.

I will vote for Obama, I like that he supports g*y rights, but I'm only going to vote for him because he's Democrat. I do not want a Republican in the White House. I don't particularly like Obama, I think there are some democrats that would be a better president but since he is the Democratic nominee I will vote for him.

I think McCain is in to the race because he didn't want Hilliary for President. I think I might vote for Obama.
