Now shane watson is playing for Rajasthan Royals and he is hitting hard to all opponents IPL teams . we have become great fan of him and we love him . My question is will u love shane watson in same way as u do now when is playing against India from his country. At that time will u like him or just dislike him. what will u do . Now we r finding ourselves so attached with him that it will be difficult to see him out at the time when he will play against India what is ur comment

  1. Well i will support my Indian team, not the opposite players.

  2. We'd still love him. See good players are always admired. Take Brian Lara's example we always loved him and respected him as a great player even if he was our opponent. We might want him not to perform well whenever he's against us but  that's obvious isn't It?

  3. i like shane watson forever.

  4. yes

  5. surely yes

  6. firstly, love is way to strong a word for me to use, but if he gets back into the aussie team i would like him to do well, mainly cos if they pick him, he'd better bloody do well cos personally id rather have D Hussey than Watson and he'd have to be giving me a reason to keep him in and Hussey out! however his form would (and most importantly his fitness) have to warrant it, as a batsman i believe he could be an international class (not top class, but still decent) but lets not get carried away with T20 form as its just going the slog and hopefully getting some luck, not even close to a predictor of test form

but i think he could only make the side as a batsman, he would need to develop his bowling alot more for me to class him as an all rounder, i have never known him to swing the ball of get movement of the seam and what i have seen so far in india hes either trying to bowl yorkers or bouncers, hes a 2-length bowler! at his pace you cant be, he needs to be able to bowl sustained spells on good line and length to be considered as a test bowler (tho personally i dont think he will be a test standard for a long time yet, if ever)

agreeing with binga on at least one point tho, i too am also shocked he has played for more than a week without breaking down with injuries! i think if the australian selectors want to think about picking him again, then he needs to play a good solid 18 months of first class cricket without be injured before he could be considered, just to prove his fitness, at the moment you cant play him tho, theres to much risk that he will break down and you then have to finish with 10 players, hes not worth the risk til he has 18 months at least without injuries!

  7. Don't get too carried away! It's unlikely he'll get to play for Australia, as he is always injured. He must be having an easy run there in India, as he's actually lasted more then a week without injury. As for loving him, eeeeeeeew! I detest the poser!

  8. Oh yes
