He was a Semifinalist 4 times was always an Overwhelming Favorite to win Wimbledon in 2001 when he took out Federer( who had beaten Sampras) His volleys were the best in the business even Sampras and Federer know this. Even though Federer etc will play Wimbledon but Tim will b missed?

  1. Seems sad the Henman has retired just as his game really sweetened.

I really began to like the guy's game.

  2. Of course he will. Andy Murray is here now.

  3. maybe...i kinda forgot about him...lol

  4. I'll miss Henman for the fact that he was probably the last pure serve-and-volley player left on the tour.  Maybe Jonas Bjorkman too, but he doesn't serve-and-volley all the time like Henman, and he won't be around much longer either.  Serve-and-volley tennis is the most exciting to watch, especially at Wimbledon, where these days the courts stay shockingly green around the net area.

  5. He definitely will be missed, but as the saying goes, out goes the old, in comes the new.

  6. Ofcourse he will. Andy Murray is here now :) haha

  7. I will miss him. He was pretty much the last of a dying breed: almost nobody plays the serve and volley game these days. It was always great to watch him out there. He was such a nice person too. Very gentlemanly, never said anything out of order. It'll be sad not to see him there.

  8. I, for one, won't miss him. There's too much undeserved hype around him and I honestly don't think he was ever as good as he was made out to be.
