  1. may be possible but i don't think so..

I'm a big Mussina fan ^^ i think its great that he's doing so well! i'm happy for him

  2. I doubt you'll get an unbiased answer to this question since he's a Yankee.  He will get some consideration, but I doubt he'll win unless he lights it up in the 2nd half.

  3. No, there are pitchers out there that are having better seasons.  Halladay and Lee are just a couple.

And the Reigning winner cant win it again, for obvious reasons - he is in the NL now.

  4. I think he will.  It will be tough though.  The reigning champ may take it again.  I'd love to see Muss get one though.

  5. He's definitely making some noise but unless Cliff Lee totally tanks in the second half which I doubt, Moose doesn't have much of a shot.

Lee is 13-2 and is #2 in era 2.29

    Moose is 13-6 with a 3.49 era.

  6. i don't think he's nearly been good enough to win it. i just don't see him competing right now with stellar seasons from cliff lee and justin duchscherer. not to mention pettitte would steal some votes from yankees biased voters

  7. He has two teams who give him trouble in that division . Ray 's & Red Sox . Kaz"s from the Ray"s , Pappelbon from Boston . It is possible but not likely .

  8. nope

    he should but he wont

imma yankee fan who loves what he has given us this year and i wont lie i didnt execet this from him

i wud say come back player of the year but hes in the same league as josh hamilton

but i think he should realy get attention in come back player of the year

  9. He'll get "consideration" but he's not going to win it, right now there are at least five to six guys who are ahead of him, including Cliff Lee whose ERA is over a run lower. Besides, Mussina has a good ERA right now but he always finishes with a high ERA which is why he'll never win the award or even make the HOF. He's one of those guys who has always gotten great run support.

PS, oops, I just realized this question is from the group's troll, the guy who makes up silly questions to get a rise out of the posters.

  10. As much as I love this guy, for him to get The Cy Young, he would have to win outright, his remaining games. His slow/medicore start and that enormous ERA he started off first several games with, is what most remember. He has got his ERA down though to a respectful 3.49. If he can maintain that ERA, and his mates score bunches of runs, he surely could be a leading candidate. However, can not rule out Saunders, Lee, Halladay( who seems to only pitch when with Toronto) and Santana.
