I, of course, missed most of the "most spectacular opening ceremony ever" and I wanted to know if they will eventually be available for purchase and where will they be available?

Yeah, you can find it at that NBC Universal store online all right, just as the others have said, but don't buy it on standard DVD! We want to be able to get it in high definition! Don't we?

Call NBC Universal's customer service number at 800-329-0892 and put pressure on them to make an HD consumer release version of these productions--the opening ceremony, the highlights, and the closing ceremony--on Blu-ray of course (or even D-VHS and HDV)!
