  1. I'd have to say no. The whisper in the wind is one of Jeff Hardy's most well known signature moves and is a very popular sight. Sure, what he did tonight on Smackdown looked EXTREMELY painful and he's lucky he wasn't seriously injured but banning the move because of that is a little stupid. I see where your getting this but think about it...If Batista botched 2 Batistabombs in the same year cuasing a dangerous chance of injuring a superstar would you just ban the move? No. Because the superstar was the one to s***w up the move. The whisper in the Wind is a somewhat reasonable move to complete. Now when it comes to some of the Japanese Wrestling moves...just don't try those at home!

  2. That would seem like the smart thing to do. I was watching Smackdown while lying down and I sat straight up when I saw that. I thought that Jeff was done for sure. I know that all this is planned but there is always a chance of a major injury or something going wrong.

  3. It looked like a mix-up to me, Jeff looked like he thought it was the WITW spot, but MVP looked like he thought it required a run by him to hit the ropes to make Jeff fall. I don't think the issue is the danger of the WITW move, God knows Jeff has had years of practice at doing it safely, but it just looked like a minor breakdown in communication which could have had dire consequences. Thank goodness he seemed ok.

  4. That almost looked as though it was a planned spot, or that MVP misread the move and knocked him off the top when he wasn't supposed to. If Jeff flat fell off the top rope and knocked himself out cold, I'd say maybe they would ban him using it. But MVP caused him to fall the top.

Plus, it doesn't appear to have caused an injury. So, no harm, no foul.

Of course, when a young wrestler like Mordecai botches his moves, he just gets released and sent back to the developmental territory to work on his arsenal and retool his character. :-P

EDIT - And to those of you saying this, the fact that it is his signature move means nothing. After Billy Kidman gave Chavo Guerrero a concussion with the Shooting Star Press, WWE banned Kidman from using his finisher of some five to ten years.

  5. I hope not. I happen to like that move, and it's very effective. It helped him beat Umaga a couple months ago.

  6. Hannah hardy is right batista botches many times and still use it.Or the pedigree vince wouldn't do that and kids also love watching that move so vince would want him to use it

  7. Why should he take that away?

That's one of jeff's awesome moves...

Vince Should Stop Cena From using The Fu...Will he do that? No he wont....!!

  8. That's one of his signature moves they can't take that away.

  9. That's Hardy's signature move.

  10. maybe he will i like jeff hardy i wouldant want to see him get injured

  11. Hopefully.
