  1. I put mine in a window and they ripen withen a week or so.

  2. Actually you do not put them in a plastic bag where they cannot "breathe" but yes put them in a paper bag that allows them to breathe and not mold trapped up in plastic...and do use a banana in it..it releases ethylene gas that is an agent that aids fruit/veggies in ripening..here is a link on this..

  3. Yes, they will :) I have a large vegetable garden and this year, during the tomato crisis, had hundreds of tomatoes. (Planted waaay too many seeds :p ) In order to let the plant itself strive, I had to pick many, many tomatoes each day and let them ripen inside. They did a beautiful job! Maybe even better than if left on the vine (due to bugs).

I have also heard not to put tomatoes in the refridgerator as it would take flavor away. However, I am not 100% sure of this!

    Good luck!

  4. probably not  because it takes a long time for green tomatoes to ripen.

  5. if you put them in a plastic bag with a few ripe bananas they will..but depends how green they are.. the half ripe toms ripen that way maybe the green once will too
