you pay 19.99 for the whole year..and if that person has a jack and they pay 19.99 a year..then you two can talk unlimited as long as you want..and they can have an us number..check it out. i am not familiar with vonage, but i have one now, that i sent over to another country for my family and we talk unlimited, and it even has video.

the unit that i sent over was given a local number, the same area code where i live (US) so technically i am talking to my family in Asia Unlimited (with Video even!) for a flat rate!  ain't that cool.

i can hook you up with one, just let me know

Maybe in the future. But for now go checkout http://www.joiphone.com they have some good unlimited international plans which might have Santo Domingo in it.

I have not seen any VoIP services that offer unlimited calling plans to Santo Domingo.

But, rest assured that if Vonage did, it would be very expensive.

Here is how Vonage per/min rates to Santo Domingo stack-up to some other VoIP services to PSTN landlines:
