Illegals have nothing to do with it, water will be a problem because big business and the industrial complex have destroyed a lot of the ecosystem.  The U.S. of the 19th and 20th centuries has been one of the most wasteful of natural resources societies that has ever existed, and now that things are running out no one wants to admit it and start making the kind of lifestyle changes that will allow us to survive in the long term.  Trying to blame it on anyone but the U.S. citizens of the last 150 years is nothing but a cop out.

Water has been a problem for years. it's the developers and wealthy citizens who just can't live in an existing home. They must build new. Build, build, build.

The issue of water has nothing to do with the illegal alien problem in this country.  However, the fact that California's budget has gone from $43 Billion in 1998 to over $104 BILLION in 2008 thanks to the influx of illegal aliens IS the issue.

I'm going with no on this one.  If you think illegals are that big of a problem you should get a sharp stick, and start rounding them up.  I'll hold the gate closed till you get them to the border.

That said, water IS a problem in the US today. Not as bad as in many other parts of the world but the lack of water is a problem in the western US.
