Will waxing a small line of hair on my belly hurt my baby?

Question

I have a line of dark hair on belly that goes down from my belly button and I'd like to wax it. But I'm worried whether this will hurt the baby or not. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and when the baby kicks I can see my stomach move close to where I want to wax and I wonder if I can feel and see the baby moving there that it will feel the waxing.

Does anyone have idea whether this would hurt the baby?

No, its not going to hurt the baby.  I'll tell you though.  Increased hair growth is normal during pregnancy.   I noticed a lot more belly hair when I was pregnant than when I was not.  It went away after my baby was born.

Incidentally, this line is called the Linea Negra and is totally normal in pregnancy. If it bothers you, waxing it is fine. I epilate mine!

Nope. Won't hurt the baby. BUT it may hurt you more than it normally would if you weren't pregnant. Your skin is a little/a lot more sensitve now b/c of your hormones.
