  1. Australian High Commission. South Africa. High Commission address: 292 Orient Street, Arcadia, Pretoria - Telephone: +27 12 423 6000 - Fax: +27 12 342 8442 ...

I would check here first.  They should be able to advise you how to qualify for migration to Australia. It may not be as simple as assuming you can migrate with the only concern being your wife's health.  You will have to meet certain criteria yourself. General info is also available at www.immi.gov.au

Be careful of someone calling themselves a migration attorney, the iimi.gov.au site warns you that you should only use registered migration agents. (Note: migration agents cannot make your chances of entry greater but they can advise you of how to go about the process correctly). The High Commission in Pretoria should be able to advise you if there are any in South Africa.

  2. For details go to

  3. I usually suggest to all those whose inquiries don't fit the exact mold of the Australian permit, visa and residency applications to contact a reputable Australian migration attorney.

Believe me you are going to be chasing rainbows and your own tails before you find out what your exact possibilities are.

If you are serious about emigrating it will be money well spent.
