Will we be together again??

me and my bf broke up over a month ago. We were beyond in love. But now that we are broken up, we both have had new gfs and bfs. But now he is saying that he loves me and likes me and cares for me and misses me now. I feel the same way. But he wont ask me out. He says he doesnt want a steady gf yet, and wants to try other people first. I just dont get it. I thought that we would get back together. He promised me that we would be together again one day. What is he thinking? What is going on? Will we ever be back together again?

why did you break up if you were so in love? it's not a mean question, i was just wondering. and yes it's possible that you'll be with him again. it's only been a month, so just be patient.
