  1. This is actually something NASA is working on. They are trying to grow plants in space for food and because plants produce oxygen which would make air more breathable for astronauts. But since in space the plants wont feel the pull of gravity, the water spreads all around the soil, which makes it harder for the plants to get the air and water they need. Scientists have to make sure that even the size of the grains of soil are the right size, or else water and air wont reach the roots. As you can see there are a few problems with growing plants in space, but NASA has almost got it!

  3. I think you can grow any plants in space if you can generate enough gravity for the plants to grow. Of course, you need soil, water, light that replace sunlight for the plant, etc.
